I've spent the past few days on the floor of our entry way filming and re-filming our Kickstarter video. (Its the sunniest spot with hardwood in the house.) And after many, many hours trying to learn Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects, I feel like it’s starting to take shape. I can't remember the last genuinely complicated thing I tried to learn, much less teach myself. This has been both humbling and empowering and then humbling again. But finally, the end is in sight!
So, we're ready to put a stick in the mud? Draw a line in the sand? What I'm trying to say is we're launching our Kickstarter campaign next Wednesday Feb 4th. The date is set, and come hell or high water, we are sticking to it. It is scary and exciting that this baby we've been working on over a year is about to be put into your hands! We hope you are as excited as we are to turn this year-long project into a full blown business.
We're raising money so we can purchase a direct to garment printer (prints directly on fabric). They're amazing. Having this printer will allow us to bring Hi Little One to market for real. Our current production process hand designing, printing onto t-shirt transfers, meticulously hand cutting out each design, then ironing each piece on. Blah, Blah, Blah it is a miserable endeavor. The ability to print directly on garments will eliminate three quarters of the work and allow us to spend more time making clever little onesies!
So keep your eyes peeled! If you're reading this, chances are we know where to find you and are going to spam the living daylights out of your email over the next month...apologies in advance.
Thanks for your support so far!
